Amy Lyons earned a 2019 summer residency at Millay Colony for the Arts and a 2019 Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation Creative Fellowship. She holds an MFA in fiction from Bennington. A staff prose reader for The Adroit Journal, Amy’s flash fiction has appeared in Lunch Ticket, 100 Word Story, and Literary Mama. Her essays and articles have appeared in The Independent, Lenny Letter, Pulp, LA Weekly, Washington City Paper, and others. She is working on a short story collection and a memoir. She lives and writes in Harlem.
