5-10 percent of cis women say they've never had an orgasm, only 65 percent of straight cis women (compared to 95 percent of straight cis men) say they always orgasm with their partners, and only 82% of post-op trans women report being able to orgasm, These statistics are depressing... but they're not a prognosis for your sex life or anyone else's.
The reason many people with vulvas aren't orgasming — or aren't orgasming at the rate they'd like — is not that they're incapable. This class will explore why the orgasm gap really exists and what to do if you yourself are struggling with orgasm.
I'll cover the cultural dynamics that deprive vulva-owners of orgasms and why it's really not your fault, how to get to know your body and what you need to orgasm, specific techniques for bringing vulvas to orgasm, how to get in the right mindset to orgasm with a partner, and how to communicate what you need to orgasm. I'll give tips based on my work as a sex educator, coach, and writer as well as my own experience learning to orgasm with a partner after being unable to do so for years.
This class is suitable for people who want to explore their own orgasms as well as those who want to help their partners orgasm more regularly.
